Compliance pre-checks in a regulated environment
From January 2027 the EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 applies. Manufacturers must check their technical documentation against an extensive list of requirements: operating manuals, risk assessments, test reports. These documents contain design knowledge that does not belong in a public cloud.
With onprem.ai, a pilot was built in a short time that automatically pre-checks documentation against the requirements and flags gaps with evidence: Argus, the compliance pre-check for machinery manufacturers. The models run on-premise and the documents stay in-house.
“With onprem.ai we built a compliance pre-check pilot in a very short time: fast and precisely tailored to the requirements. CNC-relevant topics can now easily be checked in a regulated environment.”

From pilot to application
Within a few weeks the pilot showed that engineering review effort can be focused on the cases that really need attention. The AI handles the pre-check, the review engineer handles the report.
