Dokumentli®: the document model that runs on one GPU
Dokumentli® is a small, special-purpose vision language model for European business documents. It reads a page directly as an image, including layout, tables, stamps, and handwriting, and returns structured JSON in your own schema. No OCR pre-processing, no templates, no layout training per document type.
- More accurate than frontier models: In Parashift’s benchmark across 3,365 real business documents, Dokumentli® reaches 89.1% average accuracy (cANLS@0.8) and wins all five datasets against Claude Opus 5.5, GPT-6 Astra, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Qwen3.8-27B, and Gemma 4 26B.
- Fast and compact: 1.14 documents per second on average, with a context budget of only 8,192 tokens per request.
- One GPU is enough: A single NVIDIA GPU with 24 GB VRAM runs the full model, fully air-gapped if required.
- OpenAI-compatible API: Delivered as the Dokumentli® Node, a Docker container with a Chat Completions endpoint, Prometheus metrics, and Kubernetes probes.

Dokumentli® is part of the onprem.ai model catalog and runs on every onprem.ai server from the 1 GPU tier upwards. The Node fits natively into the onprem.ai stack: it sits behind the same OpenAI-compatible gateway as the general-purpose language models, so document extraction and downstream reasoning share one API, one monitoring setup, and one security perimeter.
